Our Story

Born from the innovation labs of Aalborg University, UTRY began with a shared frustration: the endless cycle of buying clothes online, guessing the size, and dealing with the inevitable returns. As a team of tech experts and fashion lovers, we knew there had to be a better way. We saw a future beyond the static images and confusing size charts and decided to build it ourselves.

We quickly realized the problem wasn't the clothes—it was the confidence gap. The uncertainty of how a 2D image would fit on a 3D body created a poor experience for shoppers and a wasteful model for the industry. Our vision became crystal clear: to create a virtual fitting room so precise and intuitive that it makes online shopping more certain than trying on clothes in a store. We envision a world where every purchase is a keeper.
